Now if your opponent dedicates weapons to killing the Stingers after you have tractored them on Impulse #32, do not panic! At least he will have several weapons that will not cycle until later in the turn and your ship will be close enough to do what Hydrans do best - run him over!

Additionally, if he only cripples the Stinger on Impulse #32, you can release the tractor on Impulse #1 (or even better, during Energy Allocation by simply not powering it) before you move on Impulse #2 and avoid death-dragging it. Or you can slow enough over the turn break to not death-drag it, and use the tractor to land the cripple.
